Is it a good idea to install drivers in a non-OS partition?

Hello. I just acquired my Lenovo Y580 and set up Samsung 830 256 GB (first installation). Does it make a difference if I set up the drivers in the partition that doesn't host the operating system for a quicker boot-up speed?
It took 8 seconds to load up after the first installation and it leapt to 20 seconds following the drivers being installed.
Will the drivers still function ok? Will I have some problems with them in the future, for example, with restoring the operating system?
    Cheers everyone

    Hello and welcome to WindowsPCForums
Drivers will just work if they're set up in that partition which contains the operating system (in particular the system 32 directory), and ought to let them to be set up with their default settings.

Alright, I was wondering about perhaps installing it again.
    Thank You!
