Cant delete folder even with Administrator account - Access is denied

Whatever I try I can’t delete a particular folder. Every time I try it says “Access is denied”.
I tried running "net user administrator /active:yes" from cmd and then trying rd /s /q "file location" from the administrator’s account, but to no avail.

    What can I do?

Thanks, I’ve taken ownership but it hasn’t fixed the problem. I’ve tried using command prompt to delete it, as well as trying just by right-clicking, but I still can’t delete this folder.

I’d suggest attempting to delete the file from within Safe Mode.
If you still have no luck, try stopping Explorer.exe from within Task Manager, and then reopening it by clicking on File, New Task and typing in explorer.exe.

Thanks for your suggestion, but I still can’t delete the file. I don’t know how I managed to make this file undeletable!

Try booting up in Safe Mode and deleting it that way, then boot up normally and delete it again. This worked for me when I had an undeletable file.

Thanks a lot for your help, your solution worked. I’ve finally deleted the folder!
