    Highlight duplicates in Excel

    Hi,

I have an Excel spreadsheet with a lot of entries and I want to check for duplicates in a specific column.

Is it possible to highlight all the duplicate entries in one column?

    Thanks

Yes, it's quite easy to highlight duplicate values in Excel.

    Here's how:
Select the whole column, then click on Conditional Formatting, then Highlight Cells Rules, then Duplicate Values...

Thanks a lot. I wanted to know how to highlight all the duplicate values in one column in Excel. I thought i might need to use a formula or some VBA code, but your solution is much simpler. I managed to highlight all the instances where I had duplicated something in a big excel spreadsheet to so that I could clean up my data.
