Folder acting like a music folder

There’s a folder on my PC that has “General Items” in the properties, but acts like a music folder – files are arranged by Artist etc even if they are Word files.
How can I change it to act like a normal folder?

This is probably because Windows is using Automatic Folder Type Discovery – perhaps you added a music file to the folder and then it Windows assumed it was a music folder.

Try resetting folders to default settings:
Go to Start > Control Panel > Folder Options
On the General tab, click on Restore Defaults.
    Hope this helps

Thanks a lot. Restoring folders to the default settings has fixed the problem. My computer has stopped treating non-music folders as music folders.
