    USB Keyboard doesn’t work

    USB Keyboard doesn’t work
    Hello everyone.
So I am experiencing a large issue my keyboard. It was absolutely fine a couple of days ago, however now it has stopped functioning. It is really frustrating as I need to use the desktop keyboard. It occasionally functions for a few seconds but then Windows abruptly starts to display ‘usb device not recognized’. I looked for a fix to my issue lots of times and I’ve attempted to plug in my keyboard again and turn off the computer and turn it on again. I also attempted to look for drivers but then it displayed that there are no drivers. I attempted to update them however they are already up to date. I removed the installation of drivers and turned on computer for drivers to be set up once more, however it displayed that it didn’t work and the ethernet controller sm bus controller and universal serial bus usb controller now have a yellow icon next to them all the time.
Other devices connected with usb function absolutely fine but the keyboard does not.
Do I need to purchase a new keyboard?
    Thanks

If your PC is not recognizing a USB device, try this:

    1. Go to Device Manager
    2. Click on 'Computer'
    3. Click on 'Action' at the top, and select 'Scan for hardware changes'

See if it recognizes the USB device.
    Hope this helps!
