Thread: Ghost or Windows backup?

    Ghost or Windows backup?

I have used Norton Ghost for backing my drives. But with Windows 8 and UEFI boot, there are now 3 partitions that have to be in a system backup, and only one of these partitions has a drive-letter.

    Does Norton Ghost support this?

Would it better to use Windows 8 backup onto another HDD?

Windows backup is fine but some people feel that it's is take a lot of time to create backup. Ghost is based on Windows 8 so it shouldn't be significantly different.

It is recommended to crate backup on external DVD as if your HDD gets corrupted, the backup will get affected too.

But some cheap HDD( 1 TB for $69, 4TB for $169) for backup.
